REWILD CORAL REEFS USING CORAL TABLES !
REWILDING TABLES - a potential design for use anywhere on the planet !
We have conceived and are constructing our first prototype of an underwater coral incubator.
We looked at doing the entire nursery on land but it was too expensive and difficult to maintain.
Also in hot climates you need a cooling mechanism that if it breaks down the coral will die in less than 48 hours.
- plus PH has to be measured constantly and algae needs to be cleaned continuously.
Its a no brainer.
With coral tables you can protect the young polyps with a fine meshnet and its OFF the ocean floor so doesnt attract too much sediment caused by wave action.
- at the same time you have a free- flow of nutrients coming in and out of the open but pritected coral table to feed the young polyps....
- AND the sea is the natural environment that needs no maintenance.
We have looked at various SUCCESSFUL operations around the world particularly in the Red sea region.
land based is costly and too delicate.
Volunteers can easily maintain the tables by freediving/ diving
When the corals are big enough the outplanting process is quite simple.
You collect the modules in a bag and transplant / outplant them onto designated previously surveyed spots with GPS coordinates to collect data from time to time on their survival uptake...
its like releasing an orphan lion into the wild.
Some survive .. others not.. depending on whether they cope or not.... but you can increase the odds !
a good movie to watch is BORN FREE ... a very inspiring movie about saving lions IN AFRICA . in this case its corals.
WE ARE SAVING CORALS!
The natural habitat is far easier to incubate coral polyps... abd cheaper. landbased coral farms charge up to 25 USD per coral. We can do it for 2USD... or less.
These coral tables can be sunk to depths of up to 30 metres in offshore lagoons.
The design of the pyramid modules is to increase the likelihood of survival of the young polyps and reduce chance of sediment build up which coral ceramic plugs are prone to... this can reduce survival odds. coral tables are simple to construct and easy to move...in fact we are constructing our first prototype right now with local talent... a guy called nasser who is 3 generations into metalworking.
THAT'S called .... CHAIN OF BENEFITS !
Finally the tables are easy to construct and move around to different locations...as you need .
They can be put in the back of a pick up truck and easily carried into position by speed boats... and floatation balloons... or ropes.
They are mobile! Easy to move about. Job done.
Each coral table can grow up to 1000 new corals. Over 6 -9 months the tiny corals fuse together on the pyramid structure and then are ready to be transplanted onto totally dead reef.
who would have thought we would be using PYRAMIDS in 2022 ... in Egypt to save the coral reefs ??.
Their survival rate then increases enormously. Once the coral modules fuse we can then expect reproduction within 2 to 3 years...
WOW!
Before this was only possible in a 25 year timeline. So it really is possible to bring dead reefs back to life.
the rest we will geomance and hopefully coral will not end up as art...or in a museum.
One polyp at a time! One coral at a time! The costs are miniscule Around 2USD / 30 pounds. With scaling up. we can reduce it to 1USD .. and there is a chain of benefits to the local community . not just hotels and dive schools. BUT to everyone !
it makes environomic sense
( read our manifesto- "HOW REWILD THE PLANET ! "free on pdf )
All we need is your help! Talk to your government. Talk to your media! Talk to your local hotelier ! Talk to the Beduoin who are indigenous here! Talk to God if necessary !...but talk to someone you know. PERHAPS TODAY ! time is short. And theres a lot of work ahead!
You can do something. Nobody is powerless. Nobody is useless. anyone can be a rewilder. young or old !

And yes we truly can ! colloboratively and collectively it makes financial and environmental sense to do so. this is the new economic system if the future!
and here youve seen it for the first time..
Some conceptual designs of potential coral nurseries using pyramidic modules and metal tables to REWILD and restore our coral reefs after a bleaching event.... using microfragmentation technology we can regrow coral that normally takes 25 to 100 years ( depending on the species) ...in only 2 to 4 years..! - accelerating growth rates by 30 to 40 times.. !!!
-but to do this we will need ALL of your good wishes - prayers and material or energetical support !
Tonights event is focussed specifically on the global challenge of coral bleaching. what it is .. what causes it .. and how can this process be reversed and the reefs restored .
You can get involved in this vision in any capacity. Just ask us how!
-at the "REWILDING PROJECT" we are dedicated and committed to leaving a legacy of care and love of our planet ...of our Earth to our children. is that too much to ask?
If we do nothing but consume.. there will be nothing left or little for them to enjoy. it will all be gone!
Now is the time to open our hearts and minds and unite for this common vision !
Egypt will be hosting the LARGEST climate conference in the world in Nov. COP27. In Sharm....we invite YOU to join us tonight and get on board this train to a better tomorrow!

We will be publishing materials on our website and fb page soon that can be duplicated and used in schools etc.
I don't understand well, I thought corals are dying because of warming of the water and acidification, so your new ones will also die???
