THE LOVE ECONOMY

In violent and dangerous Somalia there are no cash transactions on the street or very little.

-because nobody has any. Its all on the old brick phone that runs on the existing phone system.

 But the BIG problem is that it is too expensive. 

The networks make exorbitant markups and profits per transaction. A transaction that should cost 1 cent costs 30 to 40. Thats extortion. Its wrong. But its still cheaper and faster than the banking institutions.

To date mobile money accounts for 1 billion people. Thats 1 in 7. Not cash. Not crypto. Not NFTS. South Africa one of the originators of the concept...doesnt use it. Why? Because it didnt work or because ot was sabotaged by the monopolised banking or financial institutions.  This is one of the reasons South Africa is turning into another failed African state and is being left behind ny more progressive ones like Kenya. 

 Lets not even begin to talk about the brain drain. 

Nigeria is the 3rd or 4th bitcoin traders in the world, and it is said they can tell the price of a beer in bitcoin and the currency is prefered to the dollar, or to the Naira. 

And now we have around 3000 crypto currencies to choose from .. and growing. 

Africa needs digital cash. Like bitcoin. Not crypto. But if theres a collapse of technology and economies....  who and what will survive ? 

In truth.. it will be a LOVE economy that will survive. And this is the aim of WU or Awoosha coin.
